Installing on a Mac

1. Open the downloaded HopFox-VPN.dmg and drag HopFox VPN into Applications.
2. On the first launch macOS says it could not verify the app. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and press Open Anyway. This happens once: HopFox is distributed here, outside the App Store.
3. Press Connect. When “Route the whole Mac” is on, macOS asks for your password once and never again.

The app checks this page for new versions and tells you when one is out. Latest release: 0.4.0, 2026-09-26.
